Paste any text and get a slop score. Slop Meter highlights the phrases that make writing sound machine-made and shows how to fix them.

Slop Meter is a small text checker that runs entirely in the browser. Paste or type text and it highlights tired, machine-made phrasing ("delve into", "rich tapestry", "in today's fast-paced world", "it's important to note", "game-changer", stacked em dashes, rule-of-three lists, empty intensifiers) and gives a slop score from 0 to 100 on a big animated gauge. Tap a highlight to see why it reads as filler and a plainer alternative. Built-in rule lists only: no AI, no network requests, no accounts, no backend, no wallet features. A share card shows the score and the top three offenders; it can be copied as text or shared as a link that carries only the score and the phrase ids, never the user's text. Everything is bundled with the app: no fonts, scripts or images from other sites. Bold, playful look, works well on phones.
